Starting with the contractor and client information requirements in mind, ProductXchange helps Information Managers monitor whether the installed products meet all regulations, building and safety codes, required by the client, investors or by law.
Based on the principles of BIM collaboration ProductXchange allows Information Managers to work closely with manufacturers and subcontractors sourcing product data in different digital formats that can be easily searched, filtered and exported according to the user’s needs.
The collected as-built data & documentation repository then allows for validation of data against requirements and verification of the as-built data.
Finally, the collected and accurately checked As-Built Product Data can be accessed and shared in common data formats (COBie, IFC, Revit, ARCHICAD, Navisworks) suited for everyone involved throughout the lifetime of the project.
